Welcome to walkers Friend, for ALL YEAR ROUND GUIDED WALKS,
and a great deal more!!
Walkers Friend began life several years ago, and is now one of the fastest growing leisure
concepts in England. There are hundreds of people in the South East and beyond who have joined Walkers Friend and who
have made great new friends and benefitted greatly from their membership.Walkers Friend is constantly striving to develop
many other products and services for the benefit of members.
From 2009, membership of Walkers Friend costs only £7.00 per person. For
existing members who renew by Jan 31st 2009, it only costs £6.00. Join now
and benefit from continuous membership right up to 31st December 2009!! For this members may join any
of the guided walks we offer, as well as having the benefit of a membership card which also is a discount
card at many of the network businesses which supports Walkers Friend, as well as the opportunity to participate in
the growing number of other activities and benefits we offer our members. Members may also elect to take a more active role
if they wish in Walkers Friend, by contributing to our growing range of publications, or helping with the guided walks. Members
also receive regular newsletters.
We now have a well established and growing network of businesses who support Walkers Friend
and its members. These businesses all display a laminated poster, and are committed to providing our members with a benefits
on production of their membership card.

East Kent - Fabulous Walking Country!!
The Isle of Thanet and East Kent is a great area for walking, and has some of the UK's best
coastline, delightful sandy beaches, as well as fabulous countryside, pretty villages, and an amazing history. We recommend
all visitors to the area to contact the local visitor information centre who are usually able to give first class information
on the area.
